By installing the ALE Chrome extension or using the ALE web portal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
ALE analyzes images and videos for signs of AI generation or manipulation. It does this by sending the URL or image address of the content you choose to scan to a third-party AI analysis service. ALE does not access, store, or transmit the raw pixels of images or video — only publicly accessible URLs.
Analysis results are produced by third-party AI providers (currently Hive Moderation). ALE does not control the accuracy of their outputs. Results should be treated as informational signals, not definitive determinations of authenticity.
You agree not to:
ALE is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any analysis result for any particular purpose. Use results at your own judgment and risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALE and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any analysis result.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of ALE after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
