What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store your Google account email address and a unique Google user ID. This is used to identify your account and track your daily credit balance. We do not access your Google contacts, files, or any other Google data.

What we analyze

When you scan content, only the URL of the page or image is sent to our servers. No page content, no browsing history, and no personal information is transmitted as part of a scan.

How data is used

Your email and Google ID are used solely to maintain your account and daily credit balance.
Scanned URLs are stored to cache results and avoid redundant API calls for the same content.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Third-party services

ALE uses Hive to perform AI detection analysis on submitted URLs. Only the URL is shared with Hive; no personal information is included. Google OAuth is used for sign-in; Google's Privacy Policy applies to that flow.

Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as you use the extension. You may request deletion by contacting us at the email below. Cached scan results may be retained to serve other users who scan the same URL.
